Renewal Radar
Renewal Radar
Never get surprised by a subscription charge again. Scan any free-trial or signup page, see the real terms, and get reminded before the first charge — free, local-only, no sign-up needed.
Install Free on ChromeHow it works
Open any trial page
Go to any signup, checkout, pricing, or free-trial page on the web.
Scan the page
Click the Renewal Radar icon and press Scan this page. Trial length, price, billing period, and the cancel link are detected — edit anything the page hid.
Get reminded
Save the trial reminder. Local notifications fire 3 days and 1 day before the first charge, plus a calendar file for your own calendar.
Why it's different
- Detects trial length, post-trial price, billing period, and first charge date
- Finds the cancel / manage-subscription link so you know the exit before you start
- Reminders 3 days and 1 day before the first charge
- One-click calendar file (.ics) for your own calendar
- Annualized cost math — see what "per month" really costs per year
- Honest when a site hides the price: it says so instead of guessing
- Completely free. No bank login, no email, no account, no catch
- Everything stays in your browser — no servers, no tracking

Privacy Policy
Renewal Radar ("the extension") does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. What you do with the extension stays in your browser.
No data collection
The extension does not collect your name, email address, browsing history, financial information, or any other personal information.
No data transmission
Everything the extension does happens locally in your browser. It sends nothing to any server — ours or anyone else's. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
Page scanning
When you click "Scan this page", the extension reads the visible text of the page you are viewing to find trial length, price, billing period, and cancel-link information. This happens only when you click the button, and the extracted details never leave your browser.
Saved trials
Your saved trial reminders are stored in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. They are never transmitted anywhere.
Reminders
Charge reminders are delivered as local Chrome notifications scheduled on your device. The optional calendar file (.ics) is downloaded directly to your device.
Permissions used and why
- activeTab + scripting — read the visible text of the page you are viewing, only when you click "Scan this page", to find trial and renewal terms.
- storage — save your trial reminders locally on your device.
- alarms + notifications — schedule and show the local 3-day and 1-day reminders before the first charge date.
- downloads — save the calendar reminder file (.ics) you request directly to your device.
